Then there was Castlemorton. The legendary one. Twenty-odd thousand people absolutely avin’ it on the common.
We’d been to a fair few DiY illegal parties by then, so we thought we knew what to expect—but nothing prepared us for the sheer scale of it. It was massive.
Like most gatherings of that kind at that time, I remember arriving, finding the DiY tent, and leaving… and absolutely nothing in between.
